We made a spontaneous decision to spend a few nights on the island because of the storm. Ana was an incredible host, not only did she let us prolong our room reservation, but she was also extremely kind and gave us lots of cool recommendations on places to visit on the island. She also helped us with a dryer for our clothes. I highly recommend this cozy hotel for a couple or family vacation.

Antonio was really nice and waited for me until midnight because the ferry was late. It is a 3 minutes walk from the port wich was very convinient as I arrived late. The view from my room on Pico and the church was veeeery pretty in the morning. And the breakfast was simple but good with various breads. . Will definitely recommend this place for someone arriving late by the ferry or want to stay a few days in Velas.

The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

Maria and Flavia, the hosts are absolutely amazing ladies! They are very welcome and warm. The view is spectacular and the rooms are very clean and spacious! They served home-made jam and liquor :)) Enjoying a lot staying at this property!

Filipa was super friendly and welcoming. The room was way better then it looked in the pictures. They also saved my life as they had an affordable laundry service and did all my laundry as I’ve been travelling for a awhile and was starting to struggle. Super helpful. The room was comfortable and cleaned, breakfast was standard but good.

The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

excellent location facing the sea and looking directly across to the volcano on pico. Hosts very welcoming. They offer you the use of the kitchen and to sit anywhere in the house. They were most helpful and giving us advice on places to visit. Breakfast is not provided, but you can use the kitchen to prepare your own. Or dinner. Large bedroom. Everything very clean. Hosts speak English very well. located about 10 minutes outside of Velas and three minutes from a nearby restaurant.

Graça the host, is fantastic, and the place is magical. The location by the airport is very convenient and not noisy at all. Amazing view to Pico.
