Vista d'oro apartment is located on top of a hill, and is a well furnished and functional apartment. The house is well connected for all excursions (Fond Ferdinand reserve, Valle de Mai, Curieuse Island and Anse Lazio beach). The view of the sea over the bay of Anse Voubert is stunning. The house was very clean, the kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking, plus it was equipped with air conditioning, hot water, fridge, and everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The added value of the house is the host Connie, who helped us to rent a car and to organize a beautiful excursion to Curieuse Island and gave us all valuable suggestions on the place, such as where to eat and where to go. Connie speaks excellent Italian and also English and French. She and her husband are a beautiful couple and amazing people. We left our hearts in this place and recommend it to everyone for a home-like holiday in Praslin. Highly recommended.

The apartment was spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay is available, The location is wonderful, directly at the most beautiful peaceful stretch of beach. Just a short walk away from restaurants, the fishmarket and supermarkets.

The hosts are fantastic! They are a very kind and hospitable family, who live on the same premises. The whole property is well designed and maintained with love. I lived in a wing where I had my own well-air-conditioned bedroom and kitchen, bathroom, terrace, as well as separate entrances to both sides of the garden. You can walk around barefoot, watch out for geckos running around having fun, all kinds of birds, but no poisonous or stinging species. The property also has a cool old-style bamboo outside shower, so you can enter your room having washed sand and salty water away. The hosts have pretty efficient stationary repellants against mosquitoes. The ocean is only 50 m away. A quiet beach with beautiful rocks, abundant sea life, and hardly any other tourists. The water is amazing: clear, the sea is of different shades of blue depending on the brightness of the sun. The water temperature is super-comfortable +28C, you don't want to leave! There is much to see, so bring your fins, mask, and snorkeling tube - this would allow you to see hundreds of incredible species (you sometimes feel yourself being on the filming stage of the Avatar movie). It makes sense to bring your own protective clothing (fully covering swimming suit) to protect the skin from unlikely but possible rief cuts and, importantly, sunburns - you may get so excited that you lose track of time! Sunscreen is a must. The whole place is full of rest: tranquil, peaceful, relaxed, and you can freely choose what you do with your time. It is a treasure!

We enjoyed the incredible view over the surrounding islands from our private cabin. Despite the location being up a steep hill, the view and the seclusion are completely worth it. It is a short walk away from the Côte d'Or beach and great nearby restaurants - although would recommend having a car.

Jeanny and her family are so nice, helpful and kind. The breakfast is good, the room spacious, clean and confortable. Perfect location. I was travelling by bus. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the road (the apartment is 1 minute walking distance from the road).
