The Appa Apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in a narrow, steep street in the hills over Portoroz. The host was very friendly and helpful, just living in the next-door house. Check-in and check-out was easy. Free parking on the property. The apartment on the ground floor was accessible by stairs from the garden. The huge terrace had an amazing view over the sea, Portoroz habour and Piran! The apartment's main room was the bedroom with a little dinner table, tv, couch and a small kitchen, microwave and fridge, separated by a folding door. The second room was a small bathroom with a quite spacious shower at ground level, which was very nice. The apartment was clean and sufficiently equiped. And the AC worked very well. Nearby is a little food market and the city and beaches/promenade were reachable by a 20 minute walk downhill. The way back up was a bit exhausting in the heat. The highlights of my 4 day stay were the terrace and beautiful garden, where I could use the garden furniture for relaxing and sunbathing, and of course the fantasic sea view! I recommend this place to everyone.

if you like living in an old house with a lot of character, this is the perfect place to be :) the host was wonderful, it was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden. beach, coffeplace, shops, bus stop to piran - everything a few minutes walking distance. we stayed with 2 teenagers who so had the possibility to do their walks on their own for a while. car parking in the garden! keep in mind that you share the bathroom with other guests!
