Checking very smooth and staff very welcoming Breakfast experience with El-Hadja BADIAA was really exceptional and we where very impressed with her Generosity and with all the information that she gave regarding the property and the location and the plenty of advises that she offered related to the Touristic information in the Old Souq and in the region.

Bathroom could use some renovation, but that didn't bother us. Mr. Akram is a great host. He provided us with everything we needed (extra blankets, towells..), he even brought us home made cakes. Would recommand his apartment. Thank you Mr. Akram!

Note that this is not a private beach so there will be locals trying to sell things. The property had several bars which served food throughout the day. The indoor swimming pool was ideal when the wind picked up in the afternoon. Overall,the staff were brilliant and made us feel so comfortable.

Toutou is a great host, his breakfast is delicious, his tours were really great and the home is really charming. We’ve experienced a local life thanks to Toutou, it wouldn’t be the same without him and his knowledge. One of the perks of staying at his guest house is we got to know great people, so we couldn’t ask for more in our first, but sure not last, visit to Tunis. We recommend it 100%

The area is full of locals who are so friendly and spoke enough English for us to get groceries easily and find our we around. We took the bus or a shared cab to Sousse for 1DT when we wanted, it was easy, nice to visit and then even nicer to leave the touristy area to return to the practically private peaceful beach of Chatt Mariam. Highly recommend !

Madji is a great host, really helpful and easy to talk to. He went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Breakfast was good as well!
