It was very social place, people were very friendly, especially on beer nights it was really easy to meet new people. Bonus points for the pool table, free to play. Staff was nice and helpful.

Yes the neighbourhood is down market and its a little dirty but the apartment is first class. There is a corner shop 2 minutes away and we found the locals very friendly. Heaps of room for a couple with full kitchen. Easy access on checkin with excellent communication. Very clean and a very comfortable Bed. The number 47 bus stops outside the apartment and it only costs $2.50 and its 10 minutes to get to Market St in the centre of Philadelphia.
