Comprising an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Jikinerita Homestay is a recently renovated accommodation in Nelly Bay set close to Magnetic Island Marina. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Nelly Bay Beach, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Magnetic Island National Park is 7.6 km from the homestay. The property was very private with a nice pool and chill area. The little flat we had was perfect for our stay, with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. We shared the kitchen with the hosts, which resulted in interesting chats with them and we got some inside tipps of where to go and what to see. Overall, i would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Nelly Bay
Arcadia Beach Guest house is a unique laid back experience, offering the perfect Island getaway. The property is nestled between tropical gardens at the rear of the property and the beach directly across the road. Loads of info from Ian on what to do around the island, you can rent cars and snorkel gear. We were very pleasantly surprised by the tent, the property was across the road from a beautiful beach. Only 15 min walk from ferry port and lots of places to sit & chill in the evening. We also spotted parrots & possums during our stay which was very fun. Bus stops are very closed too, $4.80 for an all day pass was great.

Amazing location. Huge beautiful studio. Fabulous pools(adult pool was being renovated but this didn’t matter). Studio very well equipped extremely clean and comfortable. Great wifi and lovely host Lizzie.

Selina is amazing for solo travelers. It has community vibes and daily activities make it so easy to meet with travelers and with locals on market days. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Bird feeding was a blast and love the yoga class! Hammocks and pool side seats were so relaxing and it felt like a retreat in there. You also see animals roaming around in the garden (including kangaroos) and can interact with them. I would definitely stay there again (in a dorm) and already recommended to friends.

EVERYTHING... Great spot, great hosts, loved the safari tent, everything nice and clean, the little Suzuki Jeep was a blast cruising around in, cannot wait too come back....

I’ve felt very welcomed at the jikinerita homestay and enjoyed the wonderful nature around! The accommodation was really cozy and clean. I’d definitely come back, thank you a lot!

Silvie & Michael are the most lovely hosts I ever met! From the first moment I felt welcomed. They had great tips for me, (ask for their Rock Wallabies special spot), were chatty but I also had my privacy in the apartment - which was not only perfectly clean but also really nicely furnished & with a brand new aircon. The location is also great, right between Picknick Bay & Nelly Bay with a bus stop nearby. I would always recommend to book with them when you are on Magnetic Island.
