Instructions to get in were fairly strait forward. The rooms were as described - a good sized queen and separate single with adjoining bathroom. I'm sad I didn't get to try out the awesome bath but the double shower was great! The location is excellent, with a short stroll to many eateries and the main shops etc. Mini bar fridge was appreciated.

This 5-star guest house offers full-day security and a concierge service. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. the people working at Dukes are exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent on a beautiful wide street lined with Georgian buildings, just a 2 or 3 minute walk to the old centre and everything that you came to Bath to see. We had a car and the available parking worked out just fine. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. My wife and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Dukes and highly recommend it.

Was a bit dubious when I booked as it seemed such a cheap price... but was actually a really great place. Parking outside, big room with lovely modern bathroom and really close to the beach and cafes.

What a great location; so glad we found it. This is a house in an otherwise closed section of the beautiful Chichester cathedral district, with full view of the cathedral through the window. Check-in was through individual and time-restricted codes for front door and room, and worked well (though we were a bit apprehensive, as there seemed to be nobody available on-site). The house is stunning; a guest house otherwise used for conferences with a generous two-story entrance hall and beautiful wood finishes (loved the heavy wood front door). The rooms are clean, well-appointed and the amenities excellent - the renovation kept the original simple decor. Outside there is almost no car traffic, and you arrive by driving through a medieval gate and park at an assigned space right outside the front door. At night you don't realize that you are in a town; its so quiet. Everything is in walking distance, and during the day you can enter the cathedral cloisters through a side portal. The beautiful Bishop's Garden is just around the corner, as are the Roman walls. No breakfast provided, but there is a coffeemaker in the room and several restaurants just around the corner (through the gate, as it were), including several breakfast place (we had a great breakfast at Trading Post Coffee Roasters).

The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Steve was super helpful in helping us find not only our room, but also convenient parking. The room was super cute, updated with a beautiful bathroom. I couldn't wait to get into that gorgeous bathtub! The location was central to everything we wanted to see.
