Had an amazing stay here complemented by the wonderful owners Margaret and Martin who greeted us with the warmest welcome, they made us feel so at home and the attention to details throughout our stay was so lovely! The breakfast every morning was exceptional and some mornings we enjoyed this whilst sat outside with the most stunning view of the sea, couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We will sure be back when visiting Cornwall ☺️

The room was comfortable, warm and freshly renovated. Check-in and out was easy, and the hosts communicated brilliantly. The location was great. Able to get down to the beach quickly; 10 - 15 minutes walk (we walk quickly...)--albeit there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but you have to come up the hill if you want to get anywhere at all from the beach, so it's unavoidable. I'm sure you can easily get a taxi back up if necessary.

St. Ives is one stop away and takes 2 minutes to get to and only cost £1 each way. The beach is excellent - very clean with clear water. Be aware that whilst the station and beach are walking distance, they are both downhill - the walk back can be tiring but not unmanageable. Margaret and Martin are great hosts and like to spend time getting to know their guests with a genuine interest in them.
