The host is very accommodating, helpful, organized and communicates well. They reassigned us to another room prior to our arrival due to a TV maintenance problem. They sent me a text to let me know and I appreciated that effort to make sure we had a properly working TV and for the communication. They set up a taxi pick up for me for an early flight. The room is very pretty with plush, new carpet, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, nice coffee & snack station and very clean/new feeling bathroom. Large plush towels and bathroom emergency kits provided as well as access to kitchen use as well. The security front door opens to a lovely foyer prior to the individually locked rooms. We felt very safe and comfortable. The neighborhood is well kept and pretty, it is quiet also. From the train, we walked a few blocks and were there. Perfect for what we needed!

Ash Farm Country House is a bed and breakfast that offers the tranquility of the Cheshire countryside along with easy access to Manchester Airport. Free private parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout. It was a perfect stay. The hosts were wonderful, and the breakfast was brilliant! Very worth the price. We very much enjoyed our time here. The location is not easily accessible by public transport, but a quick and rather inexpensive uber/bolt from Altrincham Station does the trick.

To enhance your weekend adventures, the powers that be have introduced a fantastic weekend ticket (currently priced at £6.80), allowing you to hop aboard the metro from 6:30 pm on a Friday evening all the way through to 11:45 pm on Sunday. Picture this: you can now jet into Manchester Airport, hop onto the metro with your weekend ticket (available only in the ticket machine after 6:30), and journey back to the airport, saving you a tidy sum of at least £40.00. My sister and I loved everything about our stay at Cornerstones Guest House. It’s a shame this was our first stop in a 10 day vacation because every other place paled in comparison. So clean and comfortable with delicious meals. Tony should teach hospitality at a university.
