We loved our stay here! Pino, his family and the staff were all so welcoming and lovely! We ended up staying here longer than expected. The rooms were very big, clean and a great balcony to chill on! Food in the restaurant was tasty, bike rental was easy and the bikes were in great condition. One of our favourite stops during our trip :)

The location and setting of the homestay is amazing just on the lake and the wooden restaurant is really nice to chill in. I also had my first hot shower in Sumatra after 7 days which was great as not many homestays have hot water! The food served in the restaurant is also decent too if you're craving some western food again!

We had a wonderful time, staying here over the christmas time. The food was awsome and we could easily hire a motorbike for cheap money to explore the island. Especially the owners and the other staff were super friedly and gave us tips were to go and to visit and always helped us with information and transport to and from ferry. If you're searching for a affordable and familiar homestay, just go there! Thank you for everything!

Nice homestay with 8 rooms on the lakeshore. Small garden down to the lake. Breakfast is available at extra charge at the small restaurant across the road.

The hotel is on an elevated standard compared to other hostels and homestays around which is due to the good service and quality they offer. The breakfast was lovely served and offered a variety of food (Omelett, Fried eggs, pancake, fruits, toast, juice etc). The room was spacious and had a nice balcony with lake views. Mattress was comfortable and it was quiet at night. The hotel is located very close to good restaurant and to several scooter rentals.

Excellent staff. It's great to see that there are still hostels/homestays that truly help customers and don't intend to make money out of their every move. He helped us to rent a motorbike and bus tickets to the airport out of the goodness of his heart, not taking any commission out of it. They provide you with water refill. Hot water in the showers. This Homestay is about 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. I had a pretty heavy suitcase with me and there was no way I could carry it on the uneven road and steep uphill. The owner, Marin, came with her scooter and picked up the suitcase right away. Upon the check-out was the same. Marin and Johanna were always available and very friendly. The view from our room was facing the lake and the beautifully maintained garden.
