Guests at Amfriwen Homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Yennanas Besir, like walking tours. We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and private check-in and check-out for guests. Aron and his family provided us with a wonderful stay. The bungalow has a fantastic view directly out to sea. You jump into the water, swim 100m and find corals and a great variety of species. Around the bungalow we saw a wobbegong, an epaulette shark, reef sharks, turtles and starfish in the most colorful colors. Aron organized coconuts for us at our request, we were served delicious food directly on our terrace and went on many excursions to fantastic snorkeling spots. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Aron even organized ear drops from Waisai when we got an earache from diving and saved our vacation! Thank you so much for everything. It was an unforgettable vacation!

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Alfred the host was incredibly welcoming and gave us an amazing feeling that we are wanted! The food was delicious and the simple cabin gave us the experience like we are on a lonely island like we wanted! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.

A private entrance leads guests into the homestay, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. The homestay offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Very clean and comfortable. Food was good, with morning tea and afternoon tea also, we never went hungry! The dining area can get very warm but we took our meals out to the end of the jetty where there’s a picnic table and hammock and enjoyed watching the sunsets. Location is spectacular, as is everywhere in Raja Amput, but I loved the changing faces of the big rock in front of our rooms and watching the fish life off our balcony - which was great for diving straight in when the tide was up. You can hire the kayaks and go out around the many little islands and bays or just go in around the mangroves. They offer really good excursions tailored to your needs. Citrus reef is a must!!!

The bungalows over the water with the house reef right in front is extraordinary. Baby reefsharks visiting, swimming underneath, a beautiful sunrise and sunset right in front is a dream come true. The common room has excellent 360degree view over the beautiful reef. Plenty of food options and always fresh. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always ready to go on an adventure. We went swimming with the mantas, which is just a 10 minute boat ride from the homestay. Cristal clear emerald blue water and playful mantas. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely visit again! As an added convenience, the homestay offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. The location is absolutely perfect right on a beautiful white Sandy beach with a gorgeous house reef and spectacular views on your doorstep. Each bungalow has a hammock as well as a private seating area over the sea and you can watch baby sharks and marine life right underneath you. I even saw an endemic epaulette shark. And there's often turtles swimming by and feeding. This was the best homestay for food, both in choice and quantity. There's always snacks, fresh fruit and tea and coffee always ready when you need. The staff are always willing and happy to help. Can't wait to get back. Thank you so very much 🙏
