Waking up to birds chirping outside the very traditional looking walls was wonderful. The house itself is old but it has been renovated beautifully. The shower and bathrooms are very nice and the set up is good.

Host was ready to welcome us when we arrived. He was very nice and recommended us to a great restaurant in the town as well as informed us about onsen opening hours and more. We were also offered tea, some local sweets, and a cup of coffee in the morning. The accommodation was clean and comfy, with kotatsu in the room. You can also enjoy sleeping in futon on traditional tatami floor. Overall great accommodation, highly recommended.
