Host/Management invited us to join for Christmas dinner and it turned out to be one of the most memorable evening for me and family to have dinner with Host (Brayden & Teri) and Management (Su & Cam). Food cooked by Cam was just fabulous for the dinner as well as for breakfast on all days. It was delight to have fresh and different breakfast everyday along with wonderful interaction with Su & Cam - Both are just fabulous!!! Stayed in Superior Family Room which was cozy/spacious with beautiful view and ceramic bath tub. Proximity to Echo Land, nightlife in Hakuba and ski slopes. Overall - it was fantastic stay and thanks to host and management for over and beyond help to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will visit again for sure!!!

A lovely, clean, and simple pension with tatami/futons and the added bonus of toilets in each room, which many pensions don't have (they have shared toilets). However, the bath is shared and is not in the room, which is no problem! Plus nearby local free public onsens are wonderful. It's run by a very nice family, has a good location near bus stops plus is a short walk from the Karasawa lift (can ski from there to main areas and back). Breakfast was very tasty with a lot of variety and a mix of Japanese and Western options. Reasonably priced-- I would stay there again!

Host was ready to welcome us when we arrived. He was very nice and recommended us to a great restaurant in the town as well as informed us about onsen opening hours and more. We were also offered tea, some local sweets, and a cup of coffee in the morning. The accommodation was clean and comfy, with kotatsu in the room. You can also enjoy sleeping in futon on traditional tatami floor. Overall great accommodation, highly recommended.
