We were able to walk to dinner at the Grand hotel in about 5 mins and the view from the outdoor seating area was excellent!

He picked up us from the bus station and also took us to the train station in the end of our stay and bought the train ticket for us from his own money, because we didn’t had a change. He speaks english pretty well and was also our guide and showed us tea plantations, factories and nice spots to take a picture for a reasonable pricey Room was spacious, clean and cosy. Bed was comfy with the comforter. There is also a table and small patio to enjoy tea. Wifi was working well. Nuwara Eliya is more colder than other cities in Sri Lanka which was pleasant change for us. There weren’t any mosquitos. The homemade food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the portions were huge. Location was near the Lover’s leap waterfall, max. 30 minutes walk and to the city center and Victorias garden it was approximately 1 hour walk but you can take a TukTuk. P.s. They have cute cat as a bonus :)
