Featuring an outdoor plunge pool with sun loungers and a garden, Olive Grove Guesthouse is located a 5-minute drive from the city centre of Windhoek. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Breakfast is displayed very nicely, offering cold and hot food. The location is very good and close to the centre. The hotel is very beautifully decorated, especially the room and stunning.

There was something for everyone at breakfast, and the made-to-order eggs and freshly-baked rolls were delicious. The pre-cut fruit had a variety of not-easy-to-find in Namibia treats. The hosts provided the perfect restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the local food and wine. We appreciated the local tips and attractions. We even had three straight days of in-room massages to truly relax. This is a lovely property off the beaten path and wonderfully quiet.

Everything about Felsenblick from the location to the privacy was exceptional. We attended a memorial service for my mother at the Dutch Reformed Church Eros. The location was in walking distance from the church and the Eros Shopping Center with a variety of shops catering for everything from groceries to pizza, coffee shop, butchery, etc. The breathtaking view of the mountain from the one bedroom apartment with its natural greenery, bird life as well as a rock hyrax spotted through the well equipped kitchenette, felt like staying in a reservation while being in a city. A lovely wrap around verandah with garden furniture as well as a large mobile barbeque, which we did not use and a conveniently situated washing line right outside. There is a laundry service if needed, and the open plan kitchen/living room with a proper large fridge freezer as well as the full DSTV premium package was extraordinary for the rate. This establishment compares to others in a much higher rate. It really is a secret gem! Monica and Edgar are great hosts, very hospitable, accommodating, and informative. The rate per unit for 2 people is underpriced, for sure. I have never been 100% satisfied with accommodation, even the supposedly luxurious ones, but I can honestly say that Felsenblick clicks all my boxes! Great stay. Highly recommended
