However it’s a great base for other sights in Maramures. everyone was so helpful.

Nice backyard (I see how this would be super nice in the summer, we were there during winter…). 15 min walk to city center. Small shop next door. One of the best traditional restaurants in Sighet 9 min walk. View of the mountains from one side of the yard. Free parking on a lot nearby.

The owners are very friendly and helpfull. In the next village there is a lake were you can swim (if you don't mind that it's a natural lake with no facilities). It's a perfect place to stay 3 or more days (a lot places to visit around Breb).
