Free private parking is available on site. Such a wonderful homestay in an idyllic location with the best, most delicious family dinner we've ever had. Was the perfect stop on the way back to Hanoi after our trip on the Ha Giang loop. We were even able to organize the boat trip around the lake in the morning which was very relaxing. Will definitely return for a longer stay next time!

Featuring garden views, Mountain Breath Retreat - Am Nui Tho in Yen Bai offers accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a patio. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It is difficult to match this level of *feeling welcome* - I have felt 100% at home with Phuong and his wife + son. The *food* is INCREDIBLE. Easily the best I've had in Vietnam; it was fresh, exciting and very tasty. Slept like a baby in a *very comfortable bed*. The room is spacious too. And above all, *the communication* with Phuong is in near native-level English, which made gaining insights (and there were many :)) a breeze. I am very grateful for this experience, and have felt like a VIP for a couple of days. Usually I am wary of close-to-10-star ratings on Booking, but if 11 was an option, I would've ticked it.

Vu Linh Palm House Homestay - Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Yen Bai, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We fell in love with Vu Linh Palm house homestay. We should stayed one night but ended up three nights there. We had the deluxe bungalow what is really worth the money because it’s is luxurious with a nice bed, a balcony and a stunning view across the rice fields. Dai and his family are super sweet and friendly and you are a part of his family the minute you arrive. Also Mina who is staying there and took us everywhere was a blast! We put these people in our hearts and will never ever forget our stay here! We loved it!

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The hosts made this stay one of my favourites in Vietnam. The lady was so approachable, and helpful. She knows little English but made everything to make me feel safe and comfortable. I arrived very late, around 2 am, and she organised a driver and a guide to Ta Chi Nhu mountain for the same morning at 7am (!!). Before that, she made breakfast (a very good bahn mi and coffee for 50k). I had the whole place for myself (hostel has around 8 beds in one room!) because I was not travelling during the season. The day after my bus was cancelled and she spent half an hour trying to find me a ride to Mu Cang Chai, calling the various bus drivers. I would highly recommend this place on your way to Mu Cang Chai. It is still developing but you will get to experience the real North Vietnam culture here.
