I'm travelling by bus and the bus stop is 5km away from the Chalet. Martitia and her husband offered pick up on the arrival day and drop off on the departure day. Martitia is responsive and always makes sure I'm well taken care of. She also made a transport arrangement to Tsitsikamma NP at a reasonable price. Besides, she also shared the load shedding schedules on the days of my stay so that we are prepared for it. The chalet is big, private and quiet. It's just 5 mins walk from the tiny town center. Wifi is fast and stable. Everything exceeds my expectations!

It is a little off the mainroad but well worth the drive to stay at this hidden gem! Everything you can need is available and Mariaan is truly an amazing host. She welcomed us with open arms and was very helpful especially in regards to recommendations in the area. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The lodge has a covered communal BBQ area and an outside kitchen and scullery. There is comfortable outside furniture in the lapa. Guests can enjoy free parking. There is a selection of adventure activities in the surrounding area and many hiking and walking trails for the more active guests. Danielle was very nice and welcoming. She gave us all the information in advance and had great recommendations for restaurants.
