The room was a hotel quality room - very nice beds, linens, pillows, and a nice bathroom with a big, hot shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect, right near the beach and a lot of restaurants and bars. The common areas were also very nicely kept and I met some other travelers who were wonderful.

He gave us lots of advice for our further travel and was always there to help and answering our questions. We enjoyed talking to him. We arrived in Antofagasta at 4:45am by plane from Lima. By 6am we were at the hostel. Pedro has been waiting for us. As our room was not yet ready he offered us another room in the meantime where we could sleep as we had been on the road for 20+hours. Later in the morning we moved to our room

He went out of his way to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable.This is a great location, on the shore, with restaurants and grocery shopping nearby. Antofagasta is an interesting city to walk around and quite safe. There is wonderful street art and the people are friendly.
