The owner was helpful beyond all expectations. He arranged a day-long trip for me when I came down to ask for help around midnight... when everything on baidu was already sold out. You need to have cash or alipay/wechat pay working.

The hostel was relaxed and was designed to look like the grottos. The design of the hallways and rooms were attractive. The hostel was next to a canal and a couple blocks from the night market and the main shopping street. We had access to a roof top area for washing clothing and for drying clothes.

He does not speak English, but he communicates through WeChat and really, really does his best to be helpful and answer any questions you might have. And I asked a lot and he patiently answered them all.

The hostel owner was super friendly and had various tours and events conveniently available for purchase at the front desk. Coffee and beer is also provided for an extra charge. The night market is only a ten minute walk and there are several supermarkets and shops nearby for any need someone might have. The lounge was super cozy and I was able to meet up with other travelers who were staying in the hostel.
