Hostel Très Schick offers accommodation with free WiFi in Bamberg, ideally set 300 metres from Bamberg Central Station and 1.6 km from Concert & Congress Hall Bamberg. The property is around 1.6 km from Bamberg Cathedral, 3.2 km from Brose Arena Bamberg and 1.2 km from University of Bamberg. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Très Schick hostel! We were quite lucky that we were the only ones at the hostel during our stay, regardless it was very comfortable overall and I don’t think having others in the accomodation would have changed that. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort to make the place feel homey and authentic. The hostel it self was vibrant and had a lot of character. The main areas were decent, although we didn’t use the outdoor balcony as it was raining during our winter stay. We didn’t have any issues with the communal bathrooms either, the property was kept very clean and tidy. The location was fantastic, only a 5 minute walk away from the train station and about 15 minute walk from the old town. Mary gave us some great recommendations of pubs, restaurants, walking routes and areas to explore. If we visit Bamberg again one day, we will definitely stay here!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location in the city center, clean, comfortable room and bathroom, very good soundproof windows - although Friday and Saturday nights were busy, closed windows did not let any buzz from the street in.

This is a very good value hotel in a great location. It was clear that they had renovated the rooms by adding some newer features and a new bathroom. Having read some of the other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised.

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable rooms, with safe and coffee pot. The opaque curtains were good. Varied breakfast buffet. There are some computers downstairs for guests to use.

The check-in was fully digital - get a code from the keybox, take keys and open your room. The rooms were clean and fully equipped with IKEA furniture - cheap but looks good.

The hostel is freshly renovated. It’s got nice, clean shower rooms, bedrooms and a very nice common area and roof terrace. The owners are very friendly and will give recommendations as to what to do in town and the area. Great location too, you can reach everything by foot.
