The vibe was great and the owners were very kind, sweet, and accommodating. I arrived earlier than expected to check in and they were very courteous with me; had my room ready very quickly. It felt like I was staying at an old friend's place, super chill! A great spot to stay while visiting Olon; I wish I could have stayed longer and if I return to Olon I will definitely be staying there again! It is a short walk from the beach, close to some delicious food, and safe to walk around. Loved Olon and its people, and loved Hostel Gran Azul!

wonderful! very large studio , kitchen , dining/work area , lounge area and bedroom. only 5 mins or so stroll to the beach. amazing views from the balcony and through the large doors Up a small hill so great for views and away from the party town noise but near enough to go and enjoy. Joos is a wonderful host and great at anticipating needs. It was a wonderful place to chill and unwind after lots of busy travelling. I couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing place, right at the beach and close to Montanita center, but still quiet at night. Gloria is a fantastic host, very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are super clean and in good condition incl. A/C and hot water. There is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need, a pool table and a pool from where you can watch Iguanas in the trees.

They were very communicative and helped us get to the accommodation, as well as helping us once we were there. Accommodation was clean and it feels like a very safe place. For anyone traveling from oversees - Ellen asks for a 50% deposit which you need to transfer via a payment service. This is normal for Ecuador and you can trust her :-). Also close to restaurants etc. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had a hot shower. The bed linen was changed during our stay. Strong wifi and a large communal kitchen for cooking.
