At the hostel, rooms have a patio. Rooms are fitted with a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower, while certain rooms come with a kitchen fitted with a microwave. The rooms in El Albergue de Sigüenza are equipped with a kettle and a computer.

The people who managed the hostal were very nice and accommodating. I had an 8- bed dorm to myself so maybe my experience wasn't the average, but I was very comfortable, and felt very much at home. Perfect location for exploring the streets of Siguenza or for just relaxing.

Albergue Ciudad del Doncel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Sigüenza. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service.

I had a very nice stay here. Clean rooms with a nice view. Elena was really helpful, you should also try her cooking! Overall, a very good value for money.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

We stayed at the Parador one night. The location above the old town center of Sigüenza is very nice. The room itself was ok. It's a Parador - historic building with ordinary rooms. There was not much to see inside of the castle. You get cheaper and better rooms in smaller, historic buildings. We didn't dine or have breakfast there as there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. It was an ok experience, not more.

Well, I can't comment on the breakfast because there wasn't one. Shall we say "sparse"? The important thing was to have a clean place where my bike would be safe. In both aspects 10 our of 10.

Lovely room and excellent location for seeing the town. Parking was on the street outside but a safe village. Very friendly staff 😉

Staying in a castle is very special! As with many Paradores it could use some investment in upgrading the rooms and in staff but it was very comfortable and wandering around the castle was great. We had one of the cheaper rooms but it was perfectly fine especially as it was too cold to sit outside if you had invested more to have a balcony. There were good restaurants in easy walking distance so it was not necessary to eat at the Parador restaurant.

Great location in the town centre with easy free parking nearby. Staff were super friendly, and breakfast is simple but inexpensive. There is also a nice bakery cafe almost next door. Everything else is within walking distance.
