The people who managed the hostal were very nice and accommodating. I had an 8- bed dorm to myself so maybe my experience wasn't the average, but I was very comfortable, and felt very much at home. Perfect location for exploring the streets of Siguenza or for just relaxing.

The room itself was ok. It's a Parador - historic building with ordinary rooms. There was not much to see inside of the castle. You get cheaper and better rooms in smaller, historic buildings. We didn't dine or have breakfast there as there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. It was an ok experience, not more.StephenYoung couple

As with many Paradores it could use some investment in upgrading the rooms and in staff but it was very comfortable and wandering around the castle was great. We had one of the cheaper rooms but it was perfectly fine especially as it was too cold to sit outside if you had invested more to have a balcony. There were good restaurants in easy walking distance so it was not necessary to eat at the Parador restaurant.
