I absolutely loved staying here for a week this summer! The hostel is super cosy and clean, the owners were very kind and friendly and the location is ideal for both going to the beach for surfing (at Côte des Basques) and walking to the city center. Highly recommended both if you travel alone or with a friend :)

the host and guest are all very nice, they offered a lot more than i expected actually! i love the ambiance of the japanese styled house. Some of the bunk bed also has partitions on them so it’s give a feeling of privacy to it. Overall, a very nice stay ❤️ thank you for having me!

Dinner at Euro 26 for 3 courses was quite remarkably good. The manager was most friendly and speaks excellent English. There is an excellent patio where we were given refreshments when we arrived rather early. This hotel is quite inexpensive, but was the best hotel stay ever! Why pay more? It is very highly recommended indeed.

The location is ideal and the food and welcome were as amazing as last time. The rooms are snug, but that’s part of the fun and they are very well equipped and clean. The nearest beach ( and the nicest) is 10-15 minutes walk away with a lovely snack bar and a very nice restaurant ( for people with a healthy budget!). For surfers you can hire boards/ wetsuits at the souvenir shop diagonally opposite the Auberge for a cheaper price than at the beach. Highly recommend.
