Breakfast was friendly & generous. The evening meal we booked was really tasty. All of the staff we met went out of their way to accommodate us. The site where Constable imagined the Haywain is right outside the hostel office which overlooks the millpond & Willy Lott's House.

The breakfast was great and everyone I met was friendly and efficient. Great value for money. I can’t wait to go back.

It comes with old and squeaky floorboards, low ceilings and bunk beds, but felt like a privilege to stay, as many visitors can’t see inside as it’s private.
