We had a twin room. Location and facilities were nice and kept clean by all. Beds were comfy and showers were hot which was needed after a very wet and windy hike.

The best thing about this hostel is the restaurant which does the best pizzas! Unfortunately it wasn’t open on Tuesday when we stayed but we still had a lovely stay. It is only a short walk into Llanberis for other pubs and restaurants. The room was small but cosy and the bed was comfy. We appreciated tea making facilities. We received a warm welcome from the host.

The hostel itself is beautiful, very nicely decorated, with loads of information scattered all over the main room. The bunk bed area is nice and tidy. Toilets are clean and decent. There is a terrace with a beautiful view and plenty of parking. A really good base for any trips in Snowdonia. Sonni was very helpful and replied to my queries instantly.

Great location. I had a single room and was expecting to be somewhere in the back but had a wonderful view of the lake. The room had everything I needed. A lovely window seat. A great shower and a big TV. Dinner was really good as well.

As far as hostels go, it’s pretty good. No communal areas other than a very busy bar used by the public. More outdoor seating means less car parking which is tricky during peak times. No bedding etc supplied. But staff friendly, great location and cheap as chips!

The host was very friendly and welcoming. When we asked for recommendations he was very helpful and recommended a great place for dinner (his local pub, which doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was very tasty, huge portions and cheap pints, very satisfied). The room had a nice view and met our needs perfectly. The location of the house is perfect and there is free overnight parking nearby. Breakfast was also good and the other staff members were friendly.
