The place is very close to the beach. Me and my wife loved it. The staff. This was the friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever had. Despite speaking very basic English, the owner helped with every. single. question. Big or small! If I could, I would give 15/10 to the staff alone!

Beautiful horizon view from the hill. Every morning I woke up with the sea view and every evening I ended the day with the view of the sunset. Marina was very kind, very available and flexible

The hostel is magnificent, and the whole experience was incredible: 1. Matala Hostel is the cleanest hostel I've ever seen in my life, cleaner than some 5stars hotels 2. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, in particular: Jacopo: greatest receptionist I've met in my life, he was able to solve all my problems and needs Cyprien: makes the best cocktails in Matala Daiga: extremelly helpfull, expecially in remiding me stuff :) Apollo: friendly and very professional, as a local he's the key resource for local tips 3. There are the two cutest dog in the world, and they will welcome you 4. Room with AC 5. Very clean Pool 6. Interesting people and guest at the hostel, it is impossible to get bored there 7. Location: Closed to the beach (5min walk), to the bus stop and to the town centre
