Located in Cork, Bru Bar & Hostel features a shared lounge, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen.

As soon as we arrived, everything was as it should be. Friendly staff, great location. Support already answered all my questions beforehand, as we had to make a few changes to the reservation. The breakfast was worth the price. The bar of the hostel itself should be praised the most. Every evening something happened, we met new people. We will be back!!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The hostel was at the amazing location, close to the bust stop while arriving from Dublin, even close to Cork train station. The bar in the ground floor was excellent & so was the complementary breakfast offered to the guests - welcome addition in a hostel. The hostel is in the midst of a busy & happening street full of traditional pubs & restaurants of the city of Cork, very safe ambience. Nice bed, would have liked a curtain in addition. Shall come back again.

Great location and the staff were really friendly. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm and slept pretty well as the bed/duvet/pillow were surprisingly comfortable 😁 didn't have a chance to use any of the facilities as I literally only slept there and left first thing, but the bathroom and bedrooms were very clean and it's a beautiful building. Would definitely stay again to get the full hostel experience

Awesome staff, full kitchen, tonnes of tourist information and local notice board, there's even a sauna!! Multiple common rooms with plenty of space, hostel guitar and acoustic piano. Very clean showers and toilets on the ground floor. The other guests staying there had a great vibe too, felt very safe.

Twin room- bunk beds with private shower/toilet. Clean and tidy, perfect for what we needed. First time in a hostel would definitely hostel again. Nice bar, good location for bars, restaurants, bus etc. Our room on the front 2nd floor was remarkably quiet.

Great location. Helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Unfortunately the sink was blocked and the carpet was stained which does make a difference to the experience. But I will stay there again. Bus outside the door. Minutes from Patrick street and while 110 euro is an insane amount to spend for one night unfortunately it's among corks cheapest. It's decor is unnecessarily studenty. Students can't afford that and non students aren't mad about popart decals.

The apartment was clean, modern, and in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's very safe and secure, with key cards used at various stages to get access to the building. It's an ideal option if you're on a budget and looking for something simple.
