Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very cheap stay in Kumamoto The staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful The check in machine was easy to use The parking onsite was great and you pay at the same machine you use to check in on. Very helpful staff and accommodating at check-in! Plentiful parking and a good central location - although it's not well connected by public transport. Nearby convenience stores to grab food options, and overall a cheap stay in Kumamoto!

it’s not a hotel , it’s a poor excuse for a youth hostel, felt like a prison , signs all over saying be quiet . No ceilings in the sleep areas . not sound proof at all , heard zipper suitcase in next room. no separation between sexes.

Great location with close access to 2 tram stations and surrounded by walking streets. buffet breakfast has a large variety of selection and safety measures diligently conducted (everyone is given plastic gloves to use when picking food). The once-a-day bus to Takachiho Gorge also stop at the Main Street bus stop opposite hotel.

Very good experience, the hostel is perfect if you want to stay in Beppu and meet new people. The bar area at the ground floor is perfect to drink a beer with other guests, and it's also possible to have dinner and breakfast (at a very good price). The owners are really nice, it's a pleasure to stay with them. I definitely recommend it!
