Set in Nagoya and within 1.8 km of Nagoya Station, Usatsuno Osu features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. We loved our lovely hostess and her husband. They were so kind to us and we really loved chatting with them during our stay! We also loved the bathroom facilities. There were individual shower stalls in their own separate rooms, and separate sinks with ambient music playing. The showers were on the first floor, so separate from the floors with guests, which was nice and kept noise down. There were bathrooms on each floor as well, so you didn't have to go far for a sink and a bathroom. I liked the bunk beds as well, they had their own outlets, curtains, and the mattresses were not thin, which was a welcome change from other guesthouses we had stayed at. There was a place to hang up your coats, and you got your own good-sized locker to keep your valuables. There was a desk you could use as well. There was also an AC/heater unit you could. Just very nice facilities.

Set in Nagoya and with Nagoya Station reachable within 3.1 km, ゲストハウスよるよなか offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. All units in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. Featuring a shared bathroom with a bidet and a hairdryer, some units at ゲストハウスよるよなか also feature a balcony. All guest rooms feature bed linen.

The beds were comfy, everything was kept clean and the building is beautiful inside. It looks like a renovated house. It is above a bar of some sort but it wasn't loud and didn't seem to be open past 9 or 10. There are numerous small restaurants, cafes and bakeries in the area as well.

A slightly unusual small inn in a downtown shopping street near Nagoya Station.

Opened in April 2015. Located in Endoji Shopping Street, one of the oldest shopping streets in Nagoya, this is a slightly unusual inn that has been renovated from a coffee shop with a history of nearly 100 years and an electric shop.

The atmosphere is really good. They have very clear instructions for everything.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location! Convenient near the station, super cheap price for how nice the rooms were! Genuinely exceeded our expectations, lovely clean rooms with a bunch of movie options. My bro and I found a really nice katsu place just down the road which was great.

During my stay at Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, I was grateful that I was placed near the window, providing ample space for luggage organization. The reliable wifi in the pantry area was convenient for staying connected. Above all, the exceptional hospitality of Icchan, the owner, made me feel welcomed and at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and personal touch.

That was the best hostel I've been to in Japan! The owner (who is SO NICE) was/ is a traveler too and you see that! Everything is well organized and has everything you need as a backpacker. the rooms are big and so comfortable. The kitchen/ lobby was amazing and the food/ coffee in the Café was delicious. I would definitely come back and never stay somewhere else.

One of my best hostel experiences in Japan! The staff was super nice and made me feel at home. The cafe downstairs was very cozy and the staff there was also very nice. The rooms were comfortable, but there weren't a lot of beds per room (I had 2 bunk beds) so if you make good friends with your roommates, it's almost like you're back at summer camp. The kitchen was well equipped and was a nice meeting place to talk to other guests. Thank you for having me!
