The room for 8 people is very big and comfortable. There tables and chairs to put your stuff. Bed linen and towel are included. Bed is comfortable. Coffee and tea are available for your stay for free. And the price is amazing 👏 THE OWNER IS THE BEST 😀 he's helpful, keeps hostel clean👏 I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN. The rooms and common areas are modern and well kept, linens for bed are clean and good quality which is important for me, there is tea and coffee available, a comfy area where to chill.GintaSolo traveller

The dormitory beds are very comfortable. Perfect location in the centre of Cesis. Works are still being done to the heating system so it may not be the warmest during winter for now. The hob is missing from the kitcen and still awaits installation but there is the oven and microwave to use. On going improvements are being made to the entire place so hopefully it will be even better during your stay!KAI HINSolo traveller

It has the charm of an old grand hotel (the breakfast-room/restaurant is lovely in that style BTW). I was staying in a split-level single room that was more than adequate. I appreciated that the few steps between the bedroom and the bathroom were fitted with automatic lights that would switch on when movements were detected. Very helpful (and safe) if you have to use the bathroom at night. Breakfast was fine and the ladies at the reception were really friendly.
