T only hostel that gives you a physical city map - not retro, rather, restoring hospitality! While some hosteliers are trying to get away with 0 living/common rooms, this "Cadillac" has that + a romantic terrace 2 enjoy or hang your clothes out 2 dry! I "wuv" clothes hung outside 2 dry. . . . T morning "coffee 'n choc. croissant" are so appreciated, but I'd just like 2 add that "stinky" Swiss/French/Italiano cheeses would take this hostel 2 t next highest sphere. . .Its 1min. from pulic transit, & its proximity 2 t centre/Old Town, Opera House (Madame Butterfly was impressive), & Phllharmonic Hall (guest Italian conductor didn't use a musical score bec. he knows t pieces so well! I saw him in Cluj-Napoca lead Verdy's "Requiem" with stealth & again, no score! It must be Dr Oetker's Pasta - you know, "Dr O" did invented baking powder!) Bucharest, & Cluj have very good puppet theatres, but I was so busy enjoying t music competition @ t State sponsored Perf. Arts H.S. I didn't have time 2 check that out. Get this, t P A.H.S. had many "Performance-Ready" teens playing t HARP - wow! T over-all winner of t competition was a cellist who played with clarity & passion! Other teen violinists were in t process of auditioning 2 attend summer schools in Weiner "Schnitzel" & Berlin - ain't too shabby I'd say. . . .
Passpartout Hostel

Romania
Although we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed Passpartout. The room and the bathroom were very clean, and the beds were comfy. There was also a kitchen if needed, and the garden seems a great place to chill. Our host Sorina was also very nice and communicative. Would definitely recommend it!

location was excellent. the place was incredibly clean and quiet. there is no common room. if you're looking to spend some time alone, or to unwind after traveling, this is the place to do so. because it's so quiet don't expect to meet anyone. wifi was also excellent.

The hostel is amazing, and the staff is great! Perfect location to walk around the city. There is a cool bar at the ground floor with great food and drinks. Hostel is pet friendly and our dog enjoyed getting pets from the staff :)

Taxi is too cheap (1 ride = 2 bus tickets) - Bolt app. The hosts were wonderful and kind. The apartment was very clean. The courtyard is as pretty as it looks and the hostel is perfectly placed, metres from the Museum of the Revolution, the other museums and the cafes, restaurants and bars in the beautiful historic centre. (It's also only a few minutes' walk from the Bastion stop for the cheap direct bus to the airport.)

Communicates via WhatsApp due to no reception but all easy and friendly. Free coffee was nice and rules made the property seem cleaner / no shoes inside is a good idea (though providing slippers might be nice as not everyone has indoor shoes when travelling hostels). Space was small but seemed well taken care of - any sign of roaches outside was them dead so I think the whole building is working towards fighting them!StephanieSolo traveller

In the backyard was a place to chill. All the people I met there were really nice and helped you out if you had any questions. Never have been to such a welcoming place before.
