The owner is amazing, super helpful and the most kind. The place is so cosy with lots of nice touches, loads of places to hang out and it has a great swimming pool too! The room was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable and we will definitely stay here again if ever back in Oudthoorn. 10/10!

The ostrich farm was real hit and so is the room, ambience , friendly dogs, great location and secured and safe environment. Congo cave, ostrich farm and Cango wildlife ranch was the great hit! At Joint backpacker you don't feel like you are in a hostel, but at home. The owners treated me like family and were super helpful with everything. Really kind people! One of the fewest hostels who doesn't think only about money and cares a lot about people and the guests. Comfortable place with electric blankets and aircons for those cold nights. Even had a safe parking place for our motorcycle :)
