High spec cottage, spacious bedroom and living area, very nice farm and great location, and safe parking for car. Highly recommend
Safe, tidy, all you need in the hostel with a private room and parking. Great views. Photo from the walks from Basecamp Wales.
Great location and easy access. Will was an absolutely wonderful host. The accommodation itself was very cosy and quiet. Beatiful surroundings. Facilities included free and safe parking which was great. The host provided us with some breakfast options as well that was very kind of him.
lovely staff, great location, cheap, own (small with bunk bed) room for my friend and I
Freshly refurbished rooms with new bathrooms. My friend who travels a lot around the world and stay in a lot of hostels said, I quote: "This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in". Great facilities, great location.
Great location, great atmosphere for a self-catered stay, and an interesting history as the first youth hostel in the UK. Staff were a delight and couldn't ask for more in terms of the price!
Great location and views from our top floor room. Very clean and beautifully furnished - best hostel I've ever stayed in!
Fantastic accommodation if you are travelling on a tighter budget and don't mind sharing your room, afterall what are hostels and bunkhouses for? Great location for exploring Snowdonia but above all absolutely fantastic service from the friendly staff. Their homemade pizzas are tremendous too, highly recommend.
the hostel is in a great location : on the main road and a stone thrown from lake Padarn. The hostel has also a Pub that offers food and drinks from noon till evening. Unfortunately people tend to be very loud while enjoying themselves in the courtyard and it can be a problem for a light sleeper. I was in an en-suite double room (bunk bed) and it was very basic but functional.
