The people who worked at Vista Verde were super friendly, the cats were amazing, the poofs in the common room really comfy and the location is very convenient too. It really started to feel like home!

Ch'i Bocól Community Hostel is a hostel near Semuc Champey that requires a 30 minute hike to get to. The property offers creek and river access, as well views of the surrounding mountainside. It is run by solar power and has fruit and vegetable gardens on site. It features the only community kitchen in the area, and offers tours daily Adenai and Esteban were great! Our private room was comfy clean and amazing, the views were incredible and the other guests were cool. Great location right on the river by a small waterfall. Shower was only cold water but very clean, along with the bathrooms.
