This place is a hidden gem! My girlfriend and I decided to spend some time in Budapest and we are so glad that we found this hostel. The staff is incredibly friendly, as well as all the people that we met inside the hostel. The furniture is zen-nish and the general atmosphere is super relaxing. Even though the hostel is not in the city center, it is very close to the tram station (from which you can pick the tram n° 19 or 49, leading to the central part of Pest in about 15-20 mins). If I ever come back to Budapest, I'll surely try to stay at the Shantee House once again.

This hostel in the centre of Budapest is just 300 metres from the Great Synagogue and 900 metres from the Opera and the Central Market Hall. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi and city maps. The artfully decorated apartment faces a quiet lane and has a full kitchen and two bedrooms, one with a separate bathroom and shower and one without. We stayed at the one without but we have access to the bath and toilet in the common area basically all to our own. The location is excellent, with many attractions in walking distance and many supermarkets and shops literally downstairs. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided excellent information on how to enjoy the city. Because of the insider knowledge, we got to follow the lead of the locals and hangout at the racetrack for the new year's eve. It was an amazing experience.

Set 300 metres from Nyugati Railway Station and the M3 metro station in Budapest, Carpe Noctem Hostel offers air conditioning and a common kitchen. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. So, staff is super close to you. Other guest aswell. You walk in an it feels like home, everyone is welcome so you could meet new buddies if u are a solo traveller. Thats it, you dont need more. Location is aswell perfect, walking distance to everything.
