This Hostel was amazing. The design was very welcoming and nature focused which is something that I love. Because of its location you have nature all around you and the atmosphere is very peaceful, me and my friends would spend hours relaxing in a hammock listening to the sounds of birds and crickets. During my stay while my friends chose to stay in the shared rooms, which were also really beautiful and clean, I chose a private room which was to my surprise enormous with a private balcony that takes half of the whole second floor, totally worth it! The location is also 20 minutes walking distance from the Okinawa aquarium which is a nice plus, there’s also a beach next to it but we couldn’t go swimming because swimming season starts in April. The staff was exceptional, no doubts about it. She event prepared us dinner and answered any questions we had very openly and with a smile. To be honest we were kind of sad to say goodbye because although we only stayed for two nights it felt a little bit like home. I’m hopping I could visit again.

This bed and breakfast is surrounded by sugar cane fields, and guests can access to the nearby beach, a 10-minute walk away. We spent 5 days at the Akachichi Guesthouse. The guesthouse is located about 50 minutes by car from Naha airport in a northerly direction. The location is excellent and offers plenty of relaxation and nature. There are several beaches, restaurants and other activities nearby. Kenny and Komaki are two wonderful hosts who also give you good tips along the way and are always ready to help. The breakfast is world class and made from local ingredients. We recommend a rental car to explore the island. The rooms are large, comfortable and modest by Japanese standards. That's how it should be! Nothing is missing in this accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay and wish Kenny and his family all the best for the future!
