It's just a great hostel Nice people, nice rooms. As stated before it is really new, so it's not completely finished. I think in some weeks it's gonna be the best hostel in town. The host was such a sweatheart and they took us to the local club. If you get the chance: do it! They are very open to suggestions if you have any! I loved the place and if I ever get back to Luang Prabang I will definitely stay there again! One guy working there can not speak english, just vietnamese but he is really trying and uses this translation app so it's working pretty well! He also booked the train for me, so everything I needed was taken care of! I thought it seems a little scetchy because there are only positive reviews, but with the circumstances given (that it is new and still in progress) it's really topnotch!

Had all the classic Monkey amenities - pool, restaurant, Bar, reception with booking services and TukTuks out front waiting to give you a ride into town. Maybe it's because it's a bit smaller or off the main strip of town but everything is just a bit nicer at this one. The bunks are spacious and have great storage, the hot water is there right away, the wifi works and you don't have to hike up stairs to get to your room. There is still plenty of social energy in the evening and the ride to bowling leaves at midnight!
