Habibi is my favourite hostels in Sri Lanka and possibly, the world. The owner, Mousa, is one of the most welcoming, knowledgeable and kind people I've met in 8 months of travel. I will be returning to Habibi next week for an additional stay. The rooms, the common areas, the location and the food and drinks are sensational! We enjoyed Arabic breakfasts with freshly roasted coffee and in the evenings, Mousa's own recipe falafel wrap. On our last evening, we were treated to a gourmet meal cooked by Mousa's new chef. We rented mopeds from Mousa's friend and ate in local restaurants at a discounted rate. This is a hostel like no other! Staying here enabled us to experience the best that Unawatuna has to offer, and learn about spots only the locals know. The owner employs local people and buys from local businesses, supporting Sri Lanka to thrive. Honestly, look no further, you've found nirvana.

I love it ❤️ it feels like being home!! It’s perfect for meeting people if you are travelling alone. I was thinking to stay a few days and after one week I am still here. The place is super cosy and good vibes. You feel like a little family❤️ I was staying in the private room first and then female dorms. Both options are big, spacious and clean. There is always someone for hanging out and the owner Mahesh is such a cool person, always organising dinners and events for going out all together from the hostel. Kim prepares often delicious cakes and Mahesh kombucha is one of the best I ever tried! It’s really close to the beach, five minutes walking distance. Perfect place where to stay in Weligama 😍

My experience at the Sixth Sense Hostel was absolutely incredible! It was like no other stay I've ever had. The hostel is located in a beautiful and calm place, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The manager - Sam, always made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic time. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and cozy & relaxing. What's more, there's free laundry. It was truly the best hostel I've ever been to. Totally recommend. You should come and experience it!

The place is really clean, the housekeeper comes everyday to make sure everything is fine and clean. The villa is beautiful, close to restaurants and between 2 cities. Finally, the owner was so nice , helpful and friendly, he showed us some local spots for the sunset, activities and places to go. I wish I could stay longer. But we'll be back for sure.
