It’s so clear that the owners have spent many years backpacking as everything has been thought of from a back packers perspective. As well as amenities, the vibe is so goooood. The chilled nights are chilled and the party nights are banging. The music and food, the staff, the location, everything! Thank you soooo much to Charlie, Styx and the gang for looking after me and attending to my every need. I’m so gutted I had to eventually leave. Love and appreciate you guys! May we meet again! I reccomend rain dance to everyone.

Staff was nice. It was situated on close walking distance off the center, but still quiet.

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

The dorm was one of the best I ever had, waking up in the middle of the jungle and looking into the green forest was just amazing. We also enjoyed the cocoa bowl and the brownies as well as the curry in the evening. Also, the lake view is amazing, the staff is more than friendly and everything feels like a little paradise. Would definitely recommend :)

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel is a backpackers hostel and a permaculture farm at the same time. We offer various types of hospitality like private rooms, dormitories, camping areas and... Everything was great, the site, the people, the vibe. I had to force myself to get out after a few days!! I’ll be back for sure
