I have traveled almost all over the world and stayed in countless hostels and I can easily say that Peaceland is one of the best. It is clean, the staff is helpful in every way, it is a very quiet and peaceful place, away from the tourist crowds. It is a place you will love with its very good internet, shared clean kitchen and wonderful garden.

The hostel is in a beautiful location by the ocean river, quiet and serene, surrounded by nature.You can swim and kayak in the river. I love that the beds are super comfortable and also each bed has shelves for your belongings, your own sockets, reading light, and fan as well as curtains to allow you privacy in a dorm setup. Kitchen is well equipped and more than usable. Free coffee and water all day. Highly recommended for digital nomads like me!

We stayed in the family hut just behind the reception, which is a small but perfect little house/cabana with its privated seating room. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean and the communal areas lovely decorated. The staff is very helpful and gave us tips for going to the beach, which is 5 min walk down the road. They also help you with booking tours and have their own scooters for rent. The beach down the road has a fee, 100 PHP/person but i would totally recommend you to go. If you don't want yo pay the fee, you still have the option of going another 5 min by scooter and you will be able to access it for free. There are plenty of food options close by, including the Flaming Bistro Bar, which I totally recommend you to visit
