The breakfast was superb. Very pleasant easygoing yoga sessions were offered without extra cost both in the morning and the evening. After wandering the whole day on the beautiful coasts of Öland, we were invited to relax in the yoga room, mildly washed over by the sound waves of huge gongs. This is really the place to relax! The owners were kind and welcoming. Highly recommended.

It's an old school, our bedroom was half a classroom -- great play facilities and gymnasium and very spacious kitchen and common areas. The association that runs it really care about their community and keeping the building alive and take a lot of pride in creating a great experience. A very lovely place to stay and well located for Astrid Lingrens world. Don't miss visiting the nearby church, a fantastic piece of architecture!

Situated in Långasjö village centre, this hostel is housed in a 19th-century stable. It offers free WiFi, free parking and rooms and cottages with private or shared bathroom facilities. The small Guldgrävarstugan Museum is located on site. The forest setting with the lake was wonderful. The accommodation was simple but all we needed. The cooking facilities were excellent with many essentials supplied. The breakfast was good. Best of all were the charming German ladies who run this business. Nothing for them was too much trouble. Our stay was a real pleasure and not expensive.
