Friendly environment with wonderful common area and kitchen. This hostel draws a truly diverse international clientele. Meeting the other guests and hearing about their travels makes the stay even more enjoyable. The owners genuinely understand the needs of their guests and respond quickly to any questions. They go out of their way to be helpful. Good internet, laundry, super clean and pleasant place to stay.

Surrounded with a pine forest and overlooking the Julian Alps, Rooms Barovc by the Lake Jasna is located in Kranjska Gora, right next to the Triglav National Park. The host has done a magnificent job. You feel so welcome at this place, it doesn't look like a hostel at all. You have full access to 2 kitchen areas: one with teas, syrups etc., and the other kitchen contains everything you need for cooking & eating. Also there is a coffee machine where you can make coffee 24/7. Loved it! There is also a fridge with cold drinks if you're thirsty. Oh, and the view is incredible! The lake looks stunning, the walk to it takes maximum 5 mins down the hill. Perfect value for money. Definitely recommend it.

The owners and the staff are very kind, friendly and welcoming. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. I extended my stay for two more nights. I would say it is one of the places where people really meet each other. The hostel is situated in a very quiet area. Most of the guests I've met during my stay practice sport, therefore they weren't noisy and went to bed early. The salads and artisanal icecream are excellent and pizza is ... real, properly pizza. Serving is impecable and fast. There is a grocery store and ATM nearby. Mojstrana is one of the best places for starting the ascent of Triglav Peak (three routes start from this valley), or for cycling in or around the Julian Alpes. Enjoy!
