I think it's the best hostel I've been to in Thailand, super comfortable, everything in very good condition. You can tell that it is a fairly new hostel and they maintain it very well. The room was huge, with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms and showers were in excellent condition. They serve breakfast right there for a reasonable extra price. The staff was friendly and are always willing to quickly resolve any problem that arises. The rooms do not have air conditioning but at the time I was there (November) it was not necessary since it got quite cold during the night.

However, what truly set Mae Sariang Home apart was the genuine hospitality of the elderly lady who managed the establishment. Despite the language barrier, she cared for me and the friends I made during my stay in a manner that surpassed all expectations. Her warmth and kindness were evident in her actions, creating a heartwarming environment that truly felt like a home away from home. Her dedication showcased the power of genuine care and hospitality that transcends linguistic barriers. This experience added an extra layer of authenticity to the already comfortable accommodations. Mae Sariang Home not only offers a comfortable stay but also provides a glimpse into the local community's heartfelt hospitality. My time there was made even more memorable thanks to the efforts of the caring staff and the welcoming atmosphere they foster

The place is really authentic, and makes you feel as if you live inside a Thai family’s household.
