The owner was incredibly helpful and kind and offered us support for our Alishan railway adventure. Our room was spacious and cozy. We could not have asked for a better stay.

I literally see the staff clean every place (room, toilet, common area) on a regular basis. I had a good night sleep (except for that one night that I had a rude roommate, but that's outside of the hostel control.) The hostel is very near to a night market, so it was easy enough to find something to eat. The staff even recommended a place where I ate chicken rice bowl (and pork rice bowl the other day), and it was a good recommendation. Overall, I was glad I booked this place.
