We really couldn’t of asked for anything more, we arrived late (early hours in the morning), and the key was left on the desk for us to let ourselves into our room. We were given the choice of which room we’d like to stay in too. Breakfast was amazing, we were even treated to extra fruit! We were helped out with booking a boat tour, and the owner even got us some dinner before we caught our night bus, as we were going to be short on time to have a shower and get food after our tour. We cannot recommend this hostel enough in Halong!

I can’t tell much about this hostel (apart from being in a very fancy and new neighbourhood overlooking the port) as when we arrived we were told that the hostel was overbooked. However, we were transferred to another BBQ Hostel downtown which worked even better for us; from there we could easily walk down the marina, along the bay and reach cafés, restaurants and the city market. The staff, besides being friendly and speaking English, helped with everything including booking a boat trip on the breathtaking Ha Long Bay, the bus to Hanoi and commuting to the ferry and bus station. They were also really patient with our requests, and I loved taking part to the family atmosphere of this accomodation.

Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city. The staff is amazing. From the first moment I felt so welcomed. If I had any questions they would know the answers or help me to the right tools. The hostel itself is very modern (it just openend) and clean. The beds are good and the toilets and shower are nice (and seperated from eachother). In the evening they have a happy hour when you get free beer at the pool bar. We had lots of fun! I only booked one night but that quickly became two because I had a great time ☺️

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. This place is located right in front of the Ben Tau dock, and the ocean view of the room was more than my expectation. The whole room, especially bathroom was so clean. You'll have no problem to move to everywhere in Cat ba from this place since the location is really great. One of the inconvenience in Vietnam was trouble in communication in English but one of the hosts of this place had very fluent English and was able to easily recommend us fancy places and beaches.
