The location is wonderful with the promenade and the beautiful cliff trail being just a two minute walk away. The property is very well maintained and the rooms are excellent. We had actually booked a twin room but since room was not prepared in time, we were upgraded to a family room at no extra cost. The hospitality of the staff was top notch, especially the lady who runs the place. She guided us perfectly and though our stay at Hermanus was very short, we were able to tick all the right boxes in a limited time. If a slow holiday in a warm and lovely place, with adequate dose of hospitality and the fresh sea breeze is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you.

THE BIG is centrally located just a 5 minutes' walk to V&A Waterfront and Sea Point Promenade, The BIG offers a choice of modern private room or dormitory room accommodation. It features a pool, braai facilities and free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast. Everything The Big exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious, our private room was more than adequate and the location was perfect! It was so fun the meet other travelers visiting Cape Town and being able to make connections and go visiting together!

She will make sure that you feel at home, and helps plan your stay and day to day activities if asked. The accommodation is walking distance from kite beach, less than 5 min walk.

The staff is incredible, they will make anything possible to make you stay at the best, all of this with a big smile. the hostel is clean, and u also have free breakfast. You can’t find better with this price, also the location is perfect!

Each room is air-conditioned and the dormitories are fitted with bunk beds, international charging points, a compartment locker and reading lights on each bed. Everything was incredible, nothing to complain about. Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed!

Located around 16 km from Lakes Area National Park, the hostel with free WiFi is also 18 km away from George Golf Club. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. We had a great moment at Wilderness Beach House Backpackers Lodge ! Located in a nice spot: you can see the ocean and hear the waves from your room :) A very peaceful beach is at 50m from the hostel. We spend our two nights at the hostel bar : the staff was super friendly and drinks very affordable. Would definitely recommend it !
