The Castle of himare, was erected in the 5th century BC on a mountaintop with spectacular views. Livadi Beach, located just north of Himare, is among the most amazing beaches in the area. It's the area's biggest beach and a great place to spend a few hours. The Gjipe beach, situated between the villages of Ilia and Vouno, is only walkable from the Agios Theodoros Monastery. Palace is a village near the Logara National Park that is a famous tourist attraction. It is known for being the site of Julius Caesar's arrival in 48 BC. Lukovo is a little village with gorgeous beaches and tiered hillside olive trees. The castle of Porto Palermo lies a few kilometers south of Himarra, near the port of Porto Palermo.
