This building was the historical residence of General Preskuryakov during the war between the Russian Empire and the Ottoman Empire. The wooden ceiling has been restored with an original aspect, the tuff stones have been cleaned and brought back to life. There are some original neoclassical frescoes that are over 150 years old. You can also admire the large arches that rise up to the ceiling over 4 meters high. The furnishings are minimalist style, you will find some references to the Tsarist period and vintage elements of the Soviet Union.
We are located in front of the Russian church Saint Nikolai 'Plplam Jam', in a neoclassical building built in the mid 19th century. The Italian Max and his wife Armenian Mariam have restored this house in an ancient and modern style at the same time. You can taste the flavor of old Gyumri but also the scent of the Italian style. We offer rooms with private bathroom and breakfast, homemade meals to order with Italian and Armenian cuisine, a shop where you can buy our designer souvenirs, a bar, a private garden.
