Based on a historic Wilhelminian style house from the 19th century, we fully renovated the building and aimed to create a modern, yet cozy city oasis with great attention to detail. Mariahilf, the sixth district of Vienna is located near the city centre and counts as one of the inner districts of the city. While it is the second smallest district of Vienna, it is densely populated and offers a mixture of lively shopping streets, relaxed cafés and historic buildings, which gives it a distinct, charming feel. Main sights include the Mariahilfer Church, Haydn House, where famous composer Joseph Haydn lived and composed, Theater an der Wien, Raimund Theater, and the House of the Sea (Haus des Meeres). Secret tip: from the top of the almost 50-meter House of the Sea, you can enjoy a stunning view over Vienna. Many beautiful churches and art nouveau-styled houses by Otto Wagner line the narrow streets, making it the perfect area to stroll through.
